Message From Our President:
Dear Policython members,
I am so excited to have the opportunity to welcome you to University of Toronto Policython. As youth, we are often excluded from politics and formal institutions that nevertheless dictate our daily lives. We have powerful and valid insights on current issues and on our societies in the future. I hope that your experiences at UTP can strengthen your voice and build on the set of skills necessary to challenge the system. My team and I have worked to create a community here at U of T where you can grow and start your steps in building the world to come. Thank you sincerely for your interest in UTP and your sense of initiative for change. I hope that you have a great time with this new community.
Warmly,
Miu Hu (she/ her)
President, University of Toronto Policython

We’re excited to bring this event to life for the first time ever at U of T and in Canada. Now it’s your turn to be one of the first in Canada to win a Policython. At the event, you will write a four-page brief based on a prompt which will be released on the first day of Policython. This will be an exciting experience where you will have the chance to win prizes and to get feedback from professionals. Please find below information on registering for the Policython event.
-
There are a limited number of spots available so take advantage of this early registration period
-
You don’t need to sign up as a team though we recommend there be at least 2 people in a group
-
If you are a General Member, your whole team gets early registration even if there are non-GMs in your group
-
The $5 fee per person must be paid to confirm your registration.
We hope you have had a great time exploring Canadian politics; we are confident that any one of you know more now on how to strengthen your thoughts in politics.
Make Your Team!
Policython is infinitely better with a team. No friends :( ? No problem! We've made a space for you to meet new people. We will be using Gather.Town to simulate an in-person networking event where you can find people to join your team for the Policython event. Come out to chat, play games, and take a break this reading week. You will also get the opportunity to meet UTP’s President and VPs, Stream Directors, as well as Officers. There are limited spots available for each session in the next couple of weeks so sign up quick— especially if you usually can't make our workshops. Don’t miss out on the chance to build connections and find your dream team for Policython.
Networking Event - General Members

Current Session: Environmental Networking Event
Application Due Date: CLOSED
If you want to participate in the event, joining as a general member will give you access to training sessions from our Directors to prep your knowledge in policies and equip you with skills necessary for success— in both the event and in your career. It's also a great opportunity to meet new people on (virtual) campus!
General Member Application

We apologize that general membership registration is now closed, please join us next year when registration reopens.
