Dear Policython members,

I am incredibly thrilled to welcome you all to the University of Toronto Policython. Our theme this year, Amplifying Voices at the Margins, speaks to the importance of creating space for those whose perspectives have long been overlooked or silenced. Too often, the voices of marginalized communities are excluded from conversations that shape the policies impacting their lives. As youth, we have the power to change that narrative by bringing these voices to the forefront.

 

At UTP, we believe in the strength of collective action and the ability of young people to drive meaningful change. Your unique experiences and insights are invaluable, and I hope this platform allows you to refine your skills and engage with pressing social issues that demand our attention. Together, we will work to amplify those voices that are too often unheard, building a future where all perspectives are given the respect and consideration they deserve.
